Peace:
I stumbled on your blog on BlogCatalog and I must say that I appreacite and understand your indentions of this blog.

My name is Jaffer and I am a Qur'an observing Muslim.
You have quite a lot of content here but I'd like to put in my two cents based on how much I have read on this blog.

The Qur'an agrees that God promised the land to the Children of Israel ie. the Jews.
But the Qur'an adds that they lost the Promised Land because they deviated from the teachings of the Torah. It makes it clear too that the only way the Jews will get back the Promised Land only if they revert to the teachings of the Torah.

This brings us to the Zionism and the current government of Israel, which I doubt adheres to the teachings of the Torah.

The Muslim on the other hand too has deviated from the teachings of the Qur'an. So there is no help from God on this side of the field either.

So in my view, God is not going to make peace between Muslims and Jews unless they go back and adhere to the teachings of their respective scriptures.

Originally, the Israel-Palestinian conflict was seen as a control for the Temple Mount. But currently it is in the hand's of a Muslim Waqf.

This brings to the conclusion that the Palestenian struggle of today is wholly political. Islam is not in danger in the Land of Israel and therefore, this is not recognised as a "Jihad" and those who die in this struggle are not Martyrs.
Suicide is a taboo in Islam, and unforgivable in the eyes of God. A Suicide bomber's ultimate goal is going to Heaven - without caring if God is happy or angry with their actions.
But a Muslim's ultimate goal should to meet his God and make sure he has made God happy with his actions on earth. It's upto God to decide if one goes to Heaven.

So much for my rant.

Peace !
