This is what a transparent democracy is all about. Whilst I'm sure there will a fair share of cover-up and blame deflection this is a true sign of a modern civilization. I'm now awaiting to hear if Lebanon announce their own internal inquiry into the actions of Hezbullah, let alone the governments own complicity into the crisis.
Meanwhile the Israeli soldiers remain in captivity with very little word on their condition or chances of release. Kofi Annan has been and gone, his spin apparantly doing nothing but appeasing the Arab world and quietening the western public.
If we're ever going to have peace with our neighbours they need to start acting now !
One sided action whether it be diplomatic or military is getting us nowhere, we need partners for peace and concessions by Arab governements....
