Pope Upsets Islam

This morning I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.  We are coming through another weekend where the world has upset Islam for no reason and failed to apologise.  In return the non-muslim community of Planet Earth is being recompensed with threats of Jihad, burned churches and cries of foul play.

So the whats the fuss ?

The Pope last week quoted a 14th century conversation where a question was put to a Muslim cleric that Mohammed had only brought evil and destruction to the world through his teachings.

It took a few days to filter through, but now the children of Mohamed are wreaking destruction to the world.  Is this a sad irony ?

Correct me if i'm wrong (please do correct me).. but it appears to me that its okay for the world of Islam to insult Christians, Jews and all other infidels, to threaten them with Jihad and throw spurn at the western way of life, but if we dare counter this 'discussion' we face suicide bombers, protests and burnt places of worship ?

In short, if you throw stones, expect some to come back.
